"I dont like what I see, so I say Goodnight"

Yesterday I went into Vera Bradley for my boss "T". I was to buy a messenger bag to match one already purchased for "M"'s Birthday.
I walk into Vera Bradley. No one offers to help me. I am the only person there, with 2 sales ladies. (I didnt dress up because, I was coordinating 3 different "Handymen"- which means I was running all over the house, each time one of them was lost or something).

After pretending to look around, I politely stood infront of the counter waiting for them to finish their delightful story of .
Since they didnt get the hint, I cleared my throat until they were forced to stop talking.
Sales Lady: Um, I'm not sure what we could do to help you? (Who says that? Isnt it supposed to be How can I help you?)
Me: I'm sure you can help me after I tell you...(hoping they'll get the point of how rude they are).
Me: I need a messenger bag, to match that (points) print. Do you have one?
Sales Lady: Yes. Ill grab one for you.
Me: If I need to return this, is that possible? I mean, a store credit would be fine, just as long as you can exchange it.
Sales Lady: Yes, but Why are you going to return it, if your buying it?
Me: Its for my boss... If she doesnt like... I would want to exchange it... ever heard of that for a reason?
Sales Lady: ooh, whos your boss?
Me: "B".
Sales Lady: OH, How is he doing? And the business? I'm so glad the economy's not effecting him. Don't worry about returning this his wife will love it.
Me: Oh, you know him, whats your name, I'll have to give him your best!
Sales Lady: Oh, uh, please dont mention it... they uh...
Me: No, really they would love to hear from you... your name?
Sales Lady: Uh, I actually don't know them.. I just know of them... followed by a forced laugh and smile.
